In this sewage plant under consideration, the wastewater is moved vertically using eight Archimedes screw pumps. During the process of moving the wastewater upward, there is an emission of H2S from the surfaces of the Archimedes pumps. Traces of H2S have been detected inside of the building that houses the pump engines.
The present paper evaluates a modification in the HVAC system of the building to mitigate the presence of H2S inside the building.

In recent years, the community has taken an active role regarding situations or factors that affect its air quality and that of its daily life, especially in those areas close to industrial sites.
The Graz Lagrangian (GRAL) system is a closed-source Lagrangian particle model with a free Graphic User Interface (GUI) available in both Linux and Windows. This model has a special module focused on odour dispersion modelling and now, a new beta release has been distributed in the mail list of users, with an extensive list of changes.
