The Interlaboratory Comparison for Olfactometry (ILC) based on the Standard EN 13725:2003 has been announced for this year 2018 and once again the company Olfasense is behind the organization. The registration period has started!

   The EN 13725 interlaboratory test gives odour laboratories all around the world the opportunity to demonstrate compliance with their performance requirements and compare the performance of any laboratory internationally. Once year again, the ILC 2018 will be carried out in June, but all interested to participate must register before April 27^th.

The 13th CEN meeting of Working Group 2 of the Technical Committee 264 'Air quality - Determination of odour concentration by dynamic olfactometry' took place in Berlin (Germany) at the end of August. The day 28^th of August from 09:00 to 17:00 and the 29^th from 09:00 to 13:00 a full review of the text was carried out by 19 experts from a few countries in Europe.

 The Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) of Berlin was the place selected for the final review of the future EN 13725. After almost 5 years from the first meeting it is time to sum up the work and approve a final document. The ambitious aim set was to approve each and every of the clauses redacted.
