astm e1958 20   The ASTM E1958 has been recently revised. This standard deals with sensory Claim substantiation. A claim is a statement about a product that highlights its advantages, sensory or perceptual attributes, or product changes or differences compared to other products in order to enhance its marketability.

   This standard recently revised deals with selecting and recruiting representative consumer samples, selecting and preparing products, constructing product rating forms, test execution, and statistical handling of data. Check more info about this revision here.

   Also the ASTM E2262 - 03(2020) on Standard Practice for Estimating Thurstonian Discriminal Distances has been reapproved with no modifications by the Committee E18.03. Read more here.
