Volunteers picture  Are you interested in furthering your career, building on your network of professionals, strengthening your leadership skills and implementing new ideas within learning and development community? We have an exciting opportunity to volunteer to speak about what you are doing within the industry, during one of our workshops that will be held the day before the 9th IWA International Conference on Environmental Odours and VOCs.

   We need your help! We are currently recruiting people interested in volunteering at our upcoming event in October in Bilbao. This is a unique opportunity that will enable you to share your experiences, projects and more with the attendees.

   We have an exciting section added to the upcoming 9th Odour & VOC/Air Emission Conference of the International Water Association in Bilbao this coming October. As well as many oral presentations we are lucky to have the opportunity to present new information and updates within the industry visually via posters too.

These posters will be displayed at the conference venue for the duration of the conference. During the breaks between oral presentation sessions, the authors and designer of the posters will have the chance to engage with the attendees, bringing their posters to life.

   All the papers presented during the Conference on Odour Management in the Environment, Odora’24, held in Bilbao in November 2024, have been gradually published over the years 2024 and 2025. Finally, all the papers have been published, and you can find them here, gathered in a single article.

   On this occasion, the conference was organized by the website Olores.org, sponsored by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government, Bilbao Bizkaia Water Consortium, Suez, and Nasapp, and in collaboration with the International Environmental Odour Managers Association (AMIGO), Ategrus, and the Spanish Association for Water Supply and Sanitation (Aeas). This International Conference on Odour Management in the Environment took place on November 5th and 6th, 2024, at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre BEC!, in Barakaldo, Bizkaia.
