7th iwa warsaw   The call for papers for the 7th IWA Odours and Air Emissions Conference, 25th-27th September 2017, is now open. The abstracts submission deadline is the 17th of February 2017. The Warsaw's conference will be the 7th event organized by IWA for odours and air pollution professionals.

   A few hundreds of professionals from all over the world have shared their knowledge, experience and ideas in the last five previous conferences in London - 1998, Sydney - 2001, Singapore - 2003, Barcelona - 2008, Vitoria, Brazil - 2011 and San Francisco, California - 2013. Unfortunately the previous edition of the conference which had been planned in 2015 in Paris was cancelled.

DOS2016   The 3rd World Congress of Digital Olfaction Society was hosted by the Tokyo Institute of Tecnology in Japan the 7-8 December 2016. Distinguished researchers were invited to present and share their views about the digital olfaction in different applications.

   The first part of the congress was dedicated to recent scientific advances and perspectives, and focused on the advances of human olfactory interfaces, including sensors, electronic noses and olfactory displays. The application of these devices in health and odor and environmental monitoring was discussed.

11IWA sydney   This 11th Symposium will be held at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, starting 8:45am Tuesday 14th to 6pm Thursday 16th February 2017 (3 days).

   The International Water Association (IWA) Tastes, Odors, and Algal Toxins in Drinking Water Resources and Aquaculture Specialist Group” and “Water Research Center at University of New South Wales” are pleased to announce that the “11th IWA Symposium on Tastes, Odors and Algal Toxins in Water: Occurrence and Control” will be held at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, from Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th February 2017.
